The 2024 Cadillac Escalade has a longer variation, the Escalade ESV. Despite being the same make and model, they have various differences that are important to note. In order to understand them better, Heritage Cadillac has prepared this overview for our customers. This way, you can better come to a conclusion as to which might be the right one for you. If you have any questions, you should contact our team. We are eager to help you when you need assistance.

Performance

Under the hood both vehicles come with a standard 6.2L V8 engine that pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission to provide you with 420 horsepower1 and 460 lb.-ft. of torque. You can opt to keep standard 4WD on both models or upgrade to available AWD or RWD for improved traction. You can fill up the Escalade ESV's 28.3-gallon fuel tank with premium unleaded gas and achieve a standard 14/18/16 MPG city/hwy/combined2 fuel economy rating. Because the Escalade is slightly smaller, you will need only 24 gallons of gas to fill up your tank and reach a standard EPA-estimated 14/19/16 MPG city/hwy/combined2 fuel efficiency rating. Finally, the Escalade has an available 8,200-lb. maximum towing capacity3 and the Escalade ESV has an available 8,000-lb. maximum towing capacity3.

Exterior

The biggest difference between the 2024 Cadillac Escalade ESV and the 2024 Cadillac Escalade is within its exterior dimensions. Both seat seven passengers but one of them has an expanded exterior to provide your company with more space for comfort on route to Knoch Knolls Park. The Escalade ESV has a 76.4-inch height and a 227-inch overall length. Meanwhile, the Cadillac Escalade has a height of 76.7 inches but a length of 211.9 inches. You'll have access to the same eight exterior hues to customize your ride and standard 22-inch 14-spoke alloy wheels have a Bright Silver finish that will let you stand out in both models.

Interior Dimensions

Because the Escalade ESV is longer than the traditional Escalade, this makes way for additional interior room, expanding cargo area storage. For example, when you opt for the Escalade ESV, you will have 41.5 cu. ft. of cargo space4 with the rear seats folded down. When you purchase the regular Escalade, you will have access to only 25.5 cu. ft. of cargo space4. This will greatly limit your trips to and from Danada Forest Preserve as you may need to attach additional hitches to carry all the luggage you will need to make the most of the day out and about. With all of this in mind, you should schedule a visit to our location near Naperville, IL, and see for yourself the main differences between the 2024 Cadillac Escalade ESV and the 2024 Cadillac Escalade. We're more than happy to help!
