With the wide range of luxury midsize cars out on the market, it may be tough narrowing your search down to one model that meets every need you have. There's no need to fret, because the Heritage Cadillac team is here to assist by showing you how the 2023 Cadillac CT5 stands up against the 2023 Audi A5. When you discover Cadillac, discover Heritage Cadillac!

Technology

Whether it's somewhere outside of Naperville or throughout town, you can count on the CT5 to deliver the tech specs you need for an enjoyable time behind the wheel. This car accommodates by providing you with a standard wireless charger1 to power up your devices without The hassle of cords or adapters. If you need assistance carrying out requests without taking your hands off the wheel, you'll be glad for standard Natural Voice Recognition technology2. While the 2023 A5 has these amenities, they only come on higher trim levels. And, if you appreciate generous surface space, you'll likely prefer the CT5's standard 10.0-inch touchscreen over the Audi model's base 7.0-inch display.

Performance

Moving onto mechanics, you'll quickly see why there are so many models of the 2023 Cadillac CT5 out on Ogden Avenue. Thanks to the standard 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, you can wield 237 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. With the 2023 Audi A5's standard 2.0L 4-cylinder system, you'll only reach 201 horsepower and 236 lb.-ft. of torque. While the Audi model comes with an available 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder powertrain to reach a comparable 236 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque, it's still no match against the CT5. That's because the Cadillac car also has an upgradable 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 engine to belt out 335 horsepower and 405 lb.-ft. of torque, effectively passing up the competition with ease.

Safety

Before inviting you out to see the Cadillac CT5 in person, we'd like to also mention that it deserves praise in the safety segment! To stay on top of the student motorists in the family, you'll have Teen Driver3 to configure vehicle settings and limit features to encourage better behavior tactics behind the wheel. When you could use some autonomous assistance on select roads, be sure to consider the optional Super Cruise™4 technology. If you're wondering about the Audi A5, you'll be disappointed to learn that neither feature is offered. While both cars come available with a Surround Vision Camera3, the Cadillac CT5 takes it to the next level with an optional Surround Vision Recorder3 to keep tabs on everything that's around you. It's clear which sedan is the winner, so all you need to do is decide whether to buy or lease it.
