The 2022 Cadillac XT6 is a luxury midsize SUV that stands out amongst its peers. That's why we're excited to announce its availability here at Heritage Cadillac. For a look at how it stacks up to the competition, check out this comparison against one of its fiercest rivals, the 2022 Buick Enclave.

Performance

Let's kick things off on a high note by comparing how these rides perform on the road. The Cadillac model allows customers to explore variety, providing a standard 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder engine that can crank out 237 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque, and an optional 3.6L V6 powertrain for command of 310 horsepower and 271 lb.-ft. of torque. The Buick SUV only brings a 3.6L V6 to the table, and while it can also provide up to 310 horsepower, it falls short with only 266 lb.-ft. of torque. The XT6 can still go the distance, with its smaller engine able to tap into a 21/26 MPG city/hwy1 AWD fuel economy rating, compared to the Enclave's 17/25 MPG city/hwy2 AWD fuel efficiency score. To seal the deal, the XT6 Sport trim is equipped with Brembo® front performance brakes for precise stopping power that can't be found on the Enclave.

Exterior

While it's clear that both models are loaded with curb appeal, the 2022 Cadillac XT6 still pulls ahead. Each vehicle starts off atop a standard set of 18-inch wheels, but the ability to upgrade to 21-inch components rests solely with the Cadillac. Practical features are key to the driving experience as well. Rainsense automatic windshield wipers are available on two of the XT6's three available trims, while only one iteration of the Enclave has access to this feature. Just as well, standard auto-dimming functionality for the driver's side exterior mirror means that Cadillac drivers won't have to stress about glare from bright lights. Buick fans will have to spring for a higher trim in order to reap similar benefits.

Interior

Even within the cabin, the XT6 boasts luxuries that the 2022 Enclave fails to prioritize. If you need to lend your set of wheels to a family member, the former model allows the front seat to easily return to your preferred settings, due to the standard memory feature. Unfortunately, the latter option requires drivers to experiment via trial and error all over again. When the weather is pleasant and your guests are looking to enjoy some fresh air, the standard UltraView® power sunroof in the Cadillac provides much more openness compared to the meager tilt of the Buick's power moonroof. Even when it comes to tech features, the XT6's standard Bose® premium 8-speaker audio system will easily outshine the Enclave's default 6-speaker setup.

In the matter of the 2022 Cadillac XT6 vs 2022 Buick Enclave near Naperville, IL, the former is the clear winner. Learn more during your next visit to Heritage Cadillac!
